This Privacy Policy explains how Maestro Insights (“Maestro Insights”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use our website at www.maestroinsight.services and the mobile and desktop applications we publish, including apps distributed through Google Play (together, the “Services”).

We respect your privacy. We only collect the information needed to provide and improve the Services, we never sell your personal data, and you can contact us at any time to access or delete it.

01Who we are

Maestro Insights is a software development and solutions company. Maestro Insights is the data controller responsible for personal data processed through the Services. Where data protection laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply to our processing, we comply with them.

  • CompanyMaestro Insights
  • Email[email protected]

02Scope

This policy applies to our website and to every application we publish under the Maestro Insights name, unless an individual app provides its own privacy notice, in which case that notice will describe any additional, app-specific processing. Where we build software for a client and that client publishes it under their own name, the client’s privacy policy applies to that software.

03Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact information — such as your name, email address, phone number and company name when you email or message us.
  • Communications — the content of messages, support requests and feedback you send us.
  • Account information — if an app offers an account, the details you provide to create it (for example name, email address and a password, which is stored in hashed form).
  • Content you create — information you choose to enter or upload within an app in order to use its features.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and technical data — device model, operating system and version, app version, language, time zone and IP address.
  • Usage data — the screens and features you use, and the date and time of your interactions, used in aggregate to improve the Services.
  • Diagnostics — crash logs and performance data that help us find and fix bugs.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — our website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function and be secure. If we introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data (such as health, biometric or religious information), precise location, contacts, SMS or call logs, unless a specific app feature clearly requires it, you are told in advance, and you grant permission.

04How we use information

  • To provide, operate and maintain the Services and their features.
  • To respond to your enquiries, provide customer support and communicate about projects you request.
  • To create and manage accounts where an app offers them.
  • To monitor performance, diagnose crashes and improve reliability and usability.
  • To keep the Services secure and to detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse or technical issues.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects, and we do not sell or rent it.

05Legal bases for processing

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Contract — to provide the Services you ask for and to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
  • Legitimate interests — to secure, maintain and improve the Services and to respond to enquiries, balanced against your rights.
  • Consent — for optional processing such as non-essential cookies or optional device permissions. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation — where we must process data to comply with the law, for example for accounting.

06How we share information

We share personal data only as described below, and only to the extent necessary:

  • Service providers (processors) — trusted companies that host our infrastructure, store data in the cloud, deliver email, provide crash reporting or analytics, or process payments, acting only on our instructions and under data-processing agreements.
  • Platform providers — when you download or use an app from Google Play, Google processes certain data under its own privacy policy. Apps may use Google Play services components that process device identifiers for security and functionality.
  • Legal and safety — public authorities, courts or advisers where required by law or to protect the rights, property or safety of Maestro Insights, our users or others.
  • Business transfers — a successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

Third-party services have their own privacy policies, for example Google’s Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review them.

07Device permissions

Our apps request device permissions (such as camera, photos, notifications or network access) only when needed for a feature you choose to use, and we explain why at the time of the request. You can grant or revoke permissions at any time in your device settings; some features may not work without them.

08Data retention & deletion

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy — typically for as long as you use the Services or your account is active — and afterwards only as required for legal, accounting or security reasons. Diagnostic data is kept for a limited period and is then deleted or anonymised.

Requesting deletion: you can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time by emailing [email protected] with the subject “Data deletion request” and the email address or username linked to your account. Where an app offers in-app account deletion, you can also use that option. We will confirm and complete the request within 30 days, except for data we are legally required to retain.

09Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls on a need-to-know basis and secure, reputable hosting providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a personal-data breach where the law requires.

10International transfers

Our service providers may process data in other countries, so your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. Where required by law — for example, for personal data of users in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK — we protect these transfers with appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

11Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • have your data deleted;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in the country where you live or work.

12Children’s privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the “Last updated” date above. If changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice, for example within the app.
